School

I've been biking to school all week. I know, two days in a row, I'm such a rebel. I'm not supposed to go without a buddy, but today, my buddy flaked on me. She couldn't go because apparently she had too much stuff with her and her mother didn't want her hurting her back. But she might be able to walk home. So with that thought in mind, I convince my mom to let me ride by myself. Again, I'm such a rebel. Riding by myself, IT'S SO SCARY!!! I got to school and it turned out that she couldn't walk home, because of the heat. Which it is ridiculously hot out. I'll get into that later. So I rode by myself all the way home! Wow. I didn't think I had the courage to do something as scary as that. Sarcasm to the max. Anyway, on the way home I was hardly by myself. Because as soon as I got onto the bike path I was behind a group of roving youths as my mother would say. I knew them, and one of them in particular wouldn't let me by. Whatever, not a big deal. But my other friend caught up with me, so I was basically with the four of them the whole time I was on the bike path. Ahhh! I'm in the group of roving youths that my mother usually frowns upon when she uses that phrase. I'm in a rather sarcastic mood this evening. Maybe it's the weather.

Of course not. Who would ride their bike to and from school all by their lonesome??
