Orchestra

I just got back from orchestra. I'm a second violinist there. My conductor was talking about if we all wait for another person to stop the bow, then it won't get done. Then I thought of a really good line, which is actually, now that I think about, pretty much what she said. "If we all wait for the other guy to do it, then we are all waiting for something that will never happen." Actually I lied. That's not what she said at all. But I thought that up all by myself and it's true. You should all be proud of my efforts. Then later, my conductor was trying to make a point that we shouldn't play loud all the time. She tried to connect it with something we understand well. "If your mother yells at you a lot-" Right then one of the first violinists said "It'll get boring." We all cracked up at that. I love my orchestra group. Something funny happens every rehearsal.
